      God designed us to be different – you are unique and there is no other like you – you are fearfully and wonderfully made. And what makes you unique is often very attractive to someone who is uniquely different than you. Think about it: Did you marry someone very different from you? Differences impact all areas of your marriage, from communication to parenting strategies, as well as how you approach spending and saving. God intends for these differences to unite not divide to live as one not two the problem is that differences can create frustration and isolation over time.

      • More effectively problem solve
      • Exchange information that is meaningful and practical
      • Balance the scales of a transitioning home environment
      • Work together when making high-risk decisions

      KEYNOTE SPEAKERS

      Robert Amaya 

      

      Robert is most recently known for his role as “Javier” in the Sherwood film “Courageous”. He felt humbled and honored playing this character because it reminded him of his own father’s struggles to survive in a new country with a family. Robert is a bilingual professional actor/singer from Miami, Fla. Robert volunteers as a worship leader and children’s ministry actor at his church. He helped launch and organize “FamJamz,” a family ministry based on the “Think Orange” concept where families are encouraged to worship together and parents are equipped to be more involved in their children’s spiritual development.

       

      Rodney Cox serves as Director of Community In Action, a division of Truth In Action Ministries. His passion is to equip and encourage the body of Christ by connecting their passions and abilities with God’s calling on their lives in order to transform their communities and the culture for Christ. He is a prominent, gregarious speaker and a man after God’s own heart. He has authored Leading from Your Strengths, Love and Money, and Different by Design. His extensive work in the area of gifts, personality and passion led him to the 210 Project where he focuses on helping people discover their place in God’s story. He and his wife, Elizabeth, have been married since 1984 and live in Scottsdale, AZ. They have two grown daughters who are married living in Texas and North Carolina.
